For
all Samsung lovers, there is another reason to be happy about. Samsung's ex-flagship model , the Galaxy S4 gets a price cut and is now
available at just 17,999 INR. This is the second price cut since the launch of
the device in April 2013 when it was being sold at 41,500 INR prior to being
reduced to 20,999 INR. Both the versions
of the model are available at this price.
Looking
at the offer, there's a need to recap the specs of the phone which includes a
5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, an octa-core Exynos processor clocked at
1.6 GHz, a RAM of 2GB, a 13 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. The
internal storage is 16GB and also a microSD slot and is powered by a 2600 mAh
battery.
And
also the phone has finally got the Android Lollipop update so the device will
be running on the latest OS. The GT-I9500 variants of the device which are
running on the Exynos chipset will be the first to get the Android v5.0.1
Lollipop update. The size of the update is 990 MB and currently is believed to
be over the air (OTA). There are also going to be improvement in the TouchWiz
UI which includes improved notification panel, Android Smart Lock, Guest mode
etc. For the ones who have not yet received the update, you can always flash it
on your own but be careful while doing it. This kind of deal makes Galaxy S4
one of the best options available in the market so undoubtedly there is going a
great demand for the phone in the upcoming days.
