Blackberry
is soon going to release their new flagship Blackberry Leap. Previously it was revealed
under name as Blackberry Rio. There are too many photos that have been leaked of
this smartphone and it looks similar to their last year’s flagship Blackberry
Z30 but specs are slightly different. Camera slot is the only noticeable
difference from Blackberry Z3. Blackberry Leap will come with mid-range specs
and with affordable price tag. Alleged leaked images show that we are going to
see a stylish device soon.

According to leaks, Blackberry Leap will possess 5 inch (~295 ppi) of display with 720 pixels of resolutions. 8 MP of rear facing camera will be there to take best shots and 2 MP of front facing camera will let you make video calls to your dear ones. Device will be embedded with MSM 8960 dual core 1.5 GHz of processor which is not up to the mark. But by considering that it is going to be mid budget phone; we might count it as positive feature.
With
affordable price tag 2 GB RAM is most welcomed. Along with that 16 GB of
internal memory will be there which can be expanded using external Micro SD
card. Main feature I liked the most about Blackberry Leap is 4G network
support. Additionally, it will feature Bluetooth v4.0, dual microphone and
speaker phone. Site also claimed that it will come with 2800 mAh of battery
which will last one day on regular use.

By seeing the specs and current competition from Companies like Xiaomi, OnePlus and Lenovo; we might see the price tag below 199$ if Blackberry is smart enough. Blackberry Leap might hit the market by the end of May 2015.
