MWC 2015 is going in
Barcelona, Spain. So every smartphone company is showing off their flagships.
Alcatel also launched 3 smartphones named Pixi 3 (5.5) 3G, OneTuch Pixi 3 (5.5)
4G and Alcatel Orange Klif (Firefox OS-based) and 3 tablets i.e. PIXI3 (7)
Wi-Fi, PIXI3 (7) 3G and PIXI3 (7) 4G LTE. Till now the company didn’t share any
detail about the price and availability of these devices.
Smartphones:
The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3
(5.5) 3G
The smartphone has a 5.5
inch IPS screen with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. As the name
suggests, it is a 3G smartphone which runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6580
processor. It has 8 MP primary camera with autofocus and 2 MP of front camera.
The handset is backed up by a 2910 mAh battery. It will be available in two
configurations – with 4 GB of internal memory coupled with 512 MB of RAM or 8
GB of internal storage with a RAM of 1 GB. The internal memory can be expanded
up to 32 GB via any microSD card.

It is a 4G LTE version of
the OneTouch Pixi 3 (5.5) 3G but there are some differences in its specification.
It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8909 processor. It has a 5.5-inch HD display
with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The handset has 8GB of internal storage
with 1GB of RAM. The storage can be expended up to 32 GB in the US variant
whereas it can be expended up to 128 GB in the global version. The smartphone
comes in two camera bundle options – 5 MP primary camera and 2 MP front-facing
camera or 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP secondary camera. It is backed up by a powerful
2800mAh battery.

Alcatel Orange Klif
Alcatel has launched its
Firefox OS-based smartphone after collaboration with Orange. It is a dual-SIM
smartphone which features a 3.5 inch screen (320 x 480 pixels). It runs on a
Firefox based operating system which is limited to very few smartphones as of
now. The device is powered by a dual-core MediaTek processor with a clock speed
of 1 GHz. It has 512 MB of internal storage and 256 MB RAM. Internal storage
can be expended by using a microSD card. The smartphone has a 2 MP rear camera.
It is backed up by a 1300 mAh battery and have all the connectivity features
like 3G, GPS and FM radio.

launched 3 tablets in MWC 2015 named OneTouch Pixi 3 (7) Wi-Fi, Pixi 3 (7) 3G
and Pixi 3 (7) 4G LTE. Both Pixi 3 (7) Wi-Fi and 3G have almost same
specification except the 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity option whereas OneTouch Pixi
3 (7) 4G LTE has better specification than these two.

which can be expended by using microSD card. The tablets measure 189 x 111 x 9.1
mm and weight is around 260 grams. The tablets backed up by a 2820mAh battery. The
devices differ when we talk about their processors. Wi-Fi version is powered by
a quad-core MediaTek MT8127 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz whereas 3G version has
a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8312 processor.
