Domestic smartphone maker
Lava has launched a new Windows based smartphone i.e. Xolo Win Q1000 at a price
tag of Rs. 8,499. Don’t confuse it with Xolo Q1000 as that is based on Android Operating
System whereas Xolo Win Q1000 is a Windows phone. The company has not revealed the availability details till now.
It has a 5-inch High definition
IPS display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. It is a dual SIM smartphone and it
is powered with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It has 8 GB of internal storage
which can be extended up to 32 GB using microSD card. The device comes with 1
GB of RAM with Adreno 302 GPU. So you can play games without any lag.
Xolo Win Q1000 has an 8MP
primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP secondary camera for selfie lovers. It
runs on Windows 8.1 and it may be upgraded to Windows 10 when it arrives. Till
now company didn’t mention anything about updates. It also has features like
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G and GPS. Win Q1000 has a 2200mAh battery which delivers
up to 12 hours of talk time.

The Xolo Win Q1000 comes
with pre-installed Microsoft’s Office apps and its dimensions are 143x71.3x8.8
mm. It is available in White, Black and Green color. Xolo has already launched
Windows based smartphone i.e. Win Q900s.
So the company is not new to Windows Phone-based smartphones.
