Everyone in China is
getting ready for the Chinese New Year coming on 19th of February.
Meanwhile Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Xiaomi Redmi 2 somewhere 13th
to 23rd February in this coming Chinese New Year. Although, the
announcement of Redmi 2 was made some time back but now we got the report that
Xiaomi will be coming up with an enhanced edition of the Redmi 2 even before
its launch.
This Redmi 2 will be a new
entry-level smartphone according to Xiaomi. Now, everyone was seeing that
device as quite normal with as usual specs like 1GB RAM and 8GB flash memory.
But, according to recent reports we have come to know that the enhanced version
will be having 2GB RAM instead of 1GB at the cost of 100 Yuan more than the
previous model. Word is also there that the internal storage might be doubled
as well to 16GB in the same cost only.

The previous model of
Redmi 2 was priced at 699 Yuan (6974 INR) and the latest model will cost 799
Yuan (7980 INR) with the latest RAM and storage upgrade. Redmi 2 flaunts some
good specs at the price being provided. The phone comprises of 4.7 inch HD
720x1280p display and 312ppi that runs on a 64bit Quad-core Snapdragon 410
processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The GPU processor will be Adreno 306. The phone
will also be having 4G LTE enabled. Camera specs are also quite good as the
Redmi 2 has been loaded with an 8MP Primary Camera and 2MP Secondary camera for
the selfies. The power house of the phone is 2,200 mAh battery. Redmi 2 will
come with Android v4.4.4 topped up by MIUI 6.

The device will be on sale
in China from 13th February to 23rd February in China.
Word is also there Xiaomi will also launch the phone in India too later in
March somewhere. Xiaomi has listened to customers and made the changes which
are good. We think, that’s the way how Xiaomi is gaining trust among its customers.
