well because the Windows 10 Techical Preview has arrived for Windows Phones
also.
Today, Microsoft has
released the Windows 10 Technical Preview for the Lumia Phones. With this,
Microsoft wants to give a chance to Windows Phone users to experience what’s
coming up next for them. The Technical Preview will work on some models which
are Lumia 630 series (635, 636, 638) Lumia 730 and Lumia 830. In a blog post,
Microsoft also said that, it will continue to support other models also but it
might be slow at the initial stage. Here is what, Microsoft spokesperson has to

This Technical Preview
also has missing elements like it will not be having the next-gen Spartan
browser and also there are a lot of unfinished elements as well. But it will
give you a good peek of the Action Center Upgrades, voice-recognition support
and the new better photo browser. You will have an experience of the improved Calendar
and Mail app and the universal Office app phone version. There might be bugs as
well as this is a technical preview so don’t mind dealing with them.

Here is the process of How
to download the Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones.
- You must have a Lumia 630 series or Lumia 730 or Lumia 830 phone.
- Backup all your important files and data.
- Visit insider.windows.com and sign up for the Windows Insider Program. Then through your PC, go to this link, then click on install option to send the Windows 10 insider app to your Lumia phone.
- On accessing the Windows Insider app, you will be greeted by two options – slow and fast build schedules. Make sure to select slow schedule as Microsoft says that this has less bugs and has improvements arriving less often.
- After this selection, the installation process will start and there will be many downloads and restarts, so please have patience and then finally you will be running Windows 10 Technical Preview.
