Microsoft launched its
latest version of Windows, i.e. Windows 10 on Jan 21st, 2015. The OS
is currently available in the form of technical preview for the PCs. But the
Redmond headquartered Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 Phone will soon
be out in the market by the month of May, i.e. this summer.
It has been heard from the
sources that the phone to be launched in May will be a flagship phone for
Microsoft. As of now, what that particular phone is, there is no news for that.
But reports suggests that apart from this, two other phones will be launched in
MWC to be held in the month of March in Barcelona. These phones will mainly
target the mid-range and entry-level mobile segments.
According to anonymous
sources enclosed by Chinese website WPDang, one of the phone will be the cheap
version of Lumia 830 embedded with a Pure View Camera and low storage memory.
The other phone will be the Lumia 1330 being the successor to the Lumia 1320,
will enter the market as a mid-range phone.
Coming to the flagship
phone, Ifi Majid, the Product Marketing director for Microsoft Mobile Devices
only highlighted that the flagship phone of Microsoft is likely to be launched ‘later
this summer’.
Word is also there that
Windows 10 update for phones like Lumia 930, Lumia 735 and Lumia 435 will roll
out very soon. Windows 10 flagship phone will come with 3D touch features.
There would 3D interaction elements such as the tiles will react differently to
actions like hover and gestures. There will be other new interactions like
browsing, panning, zooming of images and texts etc. These interaction elements
of Windows 10 will be later incorporated in the mid-range devices.
