The
digital campaign is at its very peak in India and Videocon wants to be a
central part of it. The former launched its recent set of smartphones in order
to provide latest technology at an effective price. The new Videocon Z40Q Star
and Z50Q Star will be of keen interest in the Indian market because people are
more interested in value for money smartphones. With the CEO of the company
saying that the enterprise is interested in making customer-focused products,
it is no wonder that the two models will be available at just Rs 4499 and Rs
5999 respectively.
The
Videocon Z40Q Star seems to be quite affordable and after seeing its
specifications, looks like it quite reliable too. A 4 inch screen (WVGA
Capacitive Touch screen) which allows
you to watch videos more clearly, a 1.2 GHz quad core processor which makes
multi tasking fun, a RAM of 512 MB, internal memory of 4 GB make it one of the
most cost effective smartphone currently available. Talking about the OS, you
get android v4.4 kitkat. The device is equipped with a 5 MP rear camera and VGA
front camera and also G and P sensors with modifications for faster internet
browsing. The 1500 mAh battery gives you a long lasting battery support.
The
Videocon Z50Q Star might be considered the older brother of Z40Q star. The
latter has a 5 inch IPS screen (FWVGA Capacitive), 1.2 GHz quad core processor,
1 GB of RAM, 4 GB internal memory, 5 MP auto-focus rear camera and 2 MP front
camera for video calling purpose. The same OS i.e. android v4.4 kitkat plus a
2000 mAh battery.
Judging
by the price of the two models, surely Videocon has fulfilled its promise of
cost-effective smartphones but how much success it really gains is still there
to be seen.
