With Samsung’s simplified names we got up with a series
of Galaxy A, E and now the J series. The Samsung is now focusing on
making pocket-friendly products. Having the world going crazy behind
smartphones everyone would like to have one and budget friendly phones makes it
more convenient. Samsung has already given us a number of low-mid range mobiles
but it’s focusing on keeping it up to the recent trends and strengthening it in
possible ways which is why it’s a trusted brand known for its quality and
service. Though they have their fall backs its entrusted.
It’s
rumored that the Samsung J1 will be available only at certain places. Without much
advertisement it was found to be at the Malaysian Samsung website. Hopefully the
west-Asian markets will be availing the first of the Galaxy J series.

It
has a 4.3 inch TFT LCD display of WVGA with 400×800 resolutions. The processor
of the J1 is rumored to have a 1.2 GHz 64-bit quad-core Marvell PXA1908 chipset
will be able to give a clock speed of 1.2 GHz but however it’s denied because
the mobile is said to be built for making it budget friendly and many say it
might have 1.2 GHz dual-core processor.
Like
all the other Samsung product it will have a removable battery. The battery is
1,850 mAh which can give one a talk time of about 10 hours. From the storage
point of view it has a 1 GB RAM and an internal memory of 4 GB which can be
expanded up to 128 GB with the external memory slot. It’s also said to have a 5
MP primary camera and a 2 MP secondary camera.
It
comes with Android 4.4 KitKat whereas the Galaxy E5 and E7 came with Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Galaxy J1 will weigh around 122gms and has a dimension of 129×68.2×8.9mm.
Those who are buying the J1 can also avail colors between Black, Blue and
White. Will it be enough for the Samsung to win the competition between the mid-range smartphones.
