Samsung as always
has worked on not just improving the technology but on creating new
technologies and innovations. From recent news of Korean Times, it has been
reported that a team has been employed through Samsung to work towards
producing high-tech products. The main motive of
the team which is led by Samsung mobile chief Shin Jong-Kyun in the mobile
division, is to work on certain products which takes along with it the fields
of robotics, autonomous vehicles, virtual reality, 3D printing, drones and robotic telepresence. This team is
intended to work on the products that would reflect an enhanced influence of
technology on general people’s daily life.
One of the Samsung official quoted that "Given the significance of the team, members will have more authority and independence because the main purpose of the team isn't to develop single devices for any imminent results, but to develop solutions to go with Samsung's manufacturing capabilities".
Samsung chief executive B.K. Yoon planned to make the Internet of
Things (IoT) which is an environment where everything is connected to the
internet, and it creats swarm intelligence out of any individually dumb
devices, which has come up as a reality after a long period of research.
B.K.Yoon has promised an amount of $100m for the
funding of IoT developers and also added by saying that 100% of the Samsung
products would be working on this IoT technology very soon.
Samsung team is highly focused on creating a new era of
futuristic technology, and setting up fields for further research and
development. With the technological advancements of high-tech robots, virtual
reality, 3D printing and drones, Samsung will surely create its mark on the
techno world and keep up with the expectations of the people working for
advanced technology.
Another official from Samsung said “Samsung’s previous
success was mostly due to releasing products that are competitive in pricing. This
is an old business formula. We need to constantly explore new ways to meet the
needs of people through innovation and updated technologies.”
The brands like Samsung, Apple and Google have always been in a race to be the top sellers and leading brands of techno products, with this tough scenario, Samsung is coming up with various innovations that attract a large audience and also puts a milestone ahead for the innovative technology.
