Samsung S4 Price Slashed Below 20,000 INR



Recently Samsung has brought down the cost of its “hit in 2013” device Samsung Galaxy S4. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will now be officially available from the retailers at RS 17,999 compared to the previous price of Rs. 21,900. The official Samsung online store still lists the price of Rs 21,900. However, Techieoasis recently learnt that Samsung has informed the dealer prices of Rs. 17,999 to its offline shops and the new price will soon hit the markets.


Samsung had launched the Galaxy S4  at a  price of Rs.41,500 in 2013. The handset started receiving Android 5.0 update this month. The Android 5.0.1 update for the software which is based on Exynos rolled over-the-air (OTA)and was about 990MB in size. The update brought many changes in Material Design user interface of Lollipop. The notification panel now includes Guest Mode and addition to all of it an Android Smart Lock, improving the overall the outlook of the phone in terms of performance, security and battery life.

It is well known that Samsung slashed the prices of many galaxy smartphones in India like Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT, Samsung Galaxy Star Advance. In 2014, during the October month Samsung slashed the cost of its premium phone, Samsung Galaxy S5  with the LTE version of the phone.The Samsung Galaxy S5 prices was kept to 37,500 while the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE was decremented to Rs 40,300.
Presently the Samsung Galaxy S5 is available at Rs. 32,900 while the LTE version is not present on the company’s India e-store.
