Do you know it is very easy
for hackers to grab information from your smartphone? Read this article to
protect your important information from govt. spies.
The Intercept reported that
NSA (National Security Agency) and GCHQ, a British equivalent spy agency hacked
millions of SIM cards produced by Gemalto. But there are few technology by
which we can protect our smartphone data by encrypting text message as told by
Mr. Chris Soghoian. So there are some free tools available which can protect
our private and important information from hackers.
Apple’s iMessage and
FaceTime are very secure way of sending information. FaceTime is very much
secured for audio and video use which also acts as a tool to talk to your kids before they
go to bed. On the other hand, iMessage is also very much secured to a level made by the developers that even Apple can’t decrypt the data.
What’sApp is also a secure
medium for Android smartphone users as suggested by Soghoian. But if we use What’sapp in iPhones then it can’t be that much safe as compared to Android devices.
There is only 90% safety when we use What’s app in iPhones. There is one more
app named “Signal” which is an open-source app for text messaging built on the Open
Whisper Systems. It is the same system which works behind the What’s app
technology. Signal is used with an app known as “RedPhone” which encrypts your phone
calls.
So these are some of the
best apps which you can use if you want to hide your personal information from
Govt. spies. I recommended you all to use iMessage as it is the most secure app
made by Apple.
