Next Big Thing Coming Up From Apple

After buying the subscription music service Beats Music somewhat six months ago, Apple is now working on it to integrate it to its already music streaming services itunes and Apple TV. After launching of this service, this will compete against other services available such as the Rdio and Spotify. This new service of collaboration is yet to be named and Apple is working on that.

Instead of installing the already existing Beats Music app into iPhones, Apple has decided to fully integrate Beats Music into iTunes, iOS and Apple TV. The Company is currently working for the new Beats infused versions of Music app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch along with an updated iTunes service for computers that will integrate the Beats feature.

This whole new service will entirely work upon cloud streaming. A new search feature will be available that will locate any song in the Beats/iTunes music menu and the users will be able to stream music from that menu as well as add songs to their favorite playlist/library. There will be another option for storing music tracks on their iOS devices or store all the songs in the cloud.

The user interface will be designed entirely by Apple discarding the Beat’s red and black famous theme, even though the whole operation under the hood will that be of Beats technologies. This is done to give iTunes and the iOS Music apps a consistent look. With this deal, comes the transition of users from Beats music to this all new interface, so to ease out that migration of current Beats Music users, Apple will allow the merging of the Beats Music accounts into their iTunes profiles.

With every good thing, there comes a price to pay. Like the previous Beats Music, this new integration offered by the Apple will not be free. But reports suggests that this will likely be less expensive than the now $9.99 per month and $99.99 per year cost of listening to music. Apple initially decided to provide the service at a rate of $5 a month but music industry officials tell us that the price will be changed to $7.99 a month. This rate is slightly cheaper than Beats and its rivals. As for now, Spotify and Rdio both offer music subscriptions at rates of $9.99 per month.

There is also good news for Android Beat users that Apple will continue to provide support for Beats Music service for android. Apple has already put its engineers to work in development of an Android app for the new Apple branded service integrated with Beats Music. However, there will be no support from Apple to the Windows Phone users and they will receive the service from the Beats Music.

About the launch of this new music streaming service, Apple planned to launch it by this March but it has been reported that the real possibilities of the launch will be on June at the Annual Worldwide Developers Conference. But if it’s March, then that will be a good news for the Music enthusiasts around.
