Microsoft recently
launched the cheapest Lumia phone till now, that is the Lumia 435. Now it has
been reported that the Lumia 532 which was unveiled last month is soon to go on
sale in India. According to the reports of NPU, the shipment of the Lumia 532 phones
from Vietnam has started to arrive in India. The shipment of the phone was
tracked down from the importing website Zauba
According to NPU, who
first revealed the news of this import, it is expected that the device will be
launched in the market in coming 2-3 weeks. About the pricing of the phone, it
is expected to be priced somewhere between 6,999 INR ($112) to 7,499 INR ($120).
Coming to the specs of the
phone, likewise the last year’s Lumia 530, this new Lumia 532 also has the same
processor and display size and resolution. The only thing that has been upgraded
is the RAM which has been made to healthy 1GB. We also think that the phone might
be future proof in terms of Windows OS. That means, although the phone might be
arriving with Windows 8.1 on board, but it will be upgradable to Windows 10 in
the near future.
The camera at the rear
will be a 5MP one, while the front camera will be a VGA one for the skype video
calls, although the experience will be not so good. Apart from that, Microsoft
is offering free 30GB of cloud storage through its cloud storage facility the
OneDrive. This thing might attract some of the users who are low on budget but
still want to go for a good looking smartphone even if the cheapest phone Lumia
435 is also up for the buy at a lower price than this.
