For past few days, we were fighting on who’s got top position in India. Some reports say that Micromax is on the top while some said no Samsung is on top followed by Micromax and Intex. But the fact is Micromax is still on 2nd spot. But it will no longer be on 2nd spot. As India’s favorite brand Micromax came with entry level phones. Smartphone handset maker Micromax has launched two new low-cost devices, with prices initial at Rs 699, as it aims consumers looking for reasonable devices as back-ups to their smartphones.
The first device is Joy X-1800 which has a 1.7 inch screen, 750 mAh battery power, 0.08MP camera and expandable memory up to four GB. It is priced at Rs 699. I know that’s very low-end specs but for the given you can’t anything more than this. The second device Micromax launched is Joy X-1850 with same features as of Joy X-1800 but with a larger 1,800 mAh battery and it will be available for Rs 749. The robustness and long battery power of the devices make them perfect for customers seeking a backup device, this is what Micromax said during launch event. While the X-1800 is offered already, the other smartphone will be offered in the retail stores in a week's time, Micromax added.

One of team member said that, they manufacture products which provide great value to the customers. With the launch of Joy series smartphones, they had taken a lead over Samsung yet again by offering a unique combination of innovative packaging. These smartphones are launched in plastic pouch, but I think this idea not nice instead of this they should have used something biodegradable. But anyway, let’s see how people react to smartphone and packing.
