MacBook Air: Survives Fall From 1000 Feet Height

Apple products are generally considered to be very delicate, generally getting damaged on one throw. But Apple producers team have supposedly taken this issue seriously and worked hard for improving the hardware components of Apple products.

MacBook Air: Survives Fall From 1000 Feet Height

It is horrifying to imagine spilling coffee or any drink onto your laptop, now just imagine throwing it from a height. Don’t you get goose bumps! Exactly the same happened few weeks ago. A pilot posted on Reddit saying that while driving his light aircraft over South Africa, accidently the canopy popped open and his MacBook flew in the air. The pilot says “'It fell from a Sports Cruiser which does 105 knots (194.46 km/h) ground speed; I was at circuit altitude of 1,000 ft from the ground level”.

Later it was found by a farmer who contacted av80r through Facebook. The farmer heard a whistle sound and saw a bag hurtling towards him, the bag then fell on the ground. The MacBook was damaged, as in, the screen was broken, the track pad was falling off, but the best part was that the MacBook is still working
In December, Apple filed a patent for the system that would put an end to the smashed iPhone screens. It suggested the Apple engineers to use the iPhone's internal vibration motor in order to control the angle of the fall while it's in mid-air. Similarly, various sensors - such as the GPS, accelerometer, ultrasonic emitter and gyroscopes will be used to analyse the phone's angle of descent in real-time scenario. The processor can later do a statistical analysis of the fall by comparing the gathered data against other information stored in the memory of the device.

The Apple products are more durable and advanced in technology far more than any other existing phones which were its competitors like Google Nexus, Samusung and HTC. The Apple products have proved their superiority by passing various milestones and survived to the best of all innovative technologies
