HTC New Beautiful Model One M9 | Specs

HTC flagship phones are typically among the most beautiful models released every year. They're often a tad smaller than the increasingly large phones Samsung and LG Release. Now it seems HTC might break the tradition and offer a super-sized flagship with the One M9 (code name Hima). Despite this name, it's not certain whether the phone will replace the One M8. It may even be a different device entirely, says one well-regarded spy. The HTC One M8 may be a year old but it still lives as one of the most innovative handhelds in the market.

There could be two Himas: A flagship and a phablet
An earlier report from China hinted that the next HTC One will sport a huge 5.5-inch screen with Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Even if it's just half an inch bigger, the gap from 5.0 to 5.5 inches is a huge one — especially for HTC. This phablet-sized phone may be the HTC One M9 Max A.K.A the HTC Hima Ace Plus.

Portuguese site 4G News reported that HTC will launch two M9s, a smaller flagship & a massive Max version. The larger device will supposedly have a nearly 5.5-inch Quad HD screen bezel free with a pixel density of 534 ppi which may be powered by the 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, adreno 430 and 3GB of RAM, support a 3000 mAh battery and 32GB of built-in storage.

Practically the usable storage will be around 23 GB. A 20 MP camera could grace the back of the Flagship, while a 4 MP UltraPixel shooter may face front. Report concludes that the HTC One M9 Max will arrive in August or September.

Up-leaks also posted an updated specs list on his site just before Christmas, where it's reasserted that the Hima will feature a 5-inch screen. The device's full dimensions are thought to be 144.3mm x 69.4mm x 9.56mm. Seeing as HTC One M8 measures 146.36mm x 70.6mm x 9.35mm, it seems that the two will be similar in size. It is unlikely HTC will announce the Hima at the Mobile World Congress, but will instead introduce the device at a different event instead. The Hima may release late March.

Not so recently, Apple had taken over HTC's former audio partner, Beats Music, the Taiwanese company may have to look to another famous speaker maker for collaboration on the One M9. For the past two-years, HTC has been making its very own speakers called BoomSound,  has dabbled with special edition phones endorsed by Harman Karbon, but Bose is supposedly going to provide the speakers for HTC's next smartphone.
HTC will probably keep the same high-quality build on the One M9, with casing made by an Aluminum silicon carbide composite. The Hima is rumoured to come in silver, gold and gray colour options.

The M9 will undoubtedly have a superb camera, as most of HTC's phones do, but this time it may not have an Ultra-Pixel sensor. Early reports mentioned a 16-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization but did not unveil anything about the front-facing camera.

The 4MP ultra-pixel took amazing low light photos, but daylight photos would lack detail. HTC may improvise on their Ultra-pixel concept and make front facing camera as Ultra-pixel.
