HTC has been in the news
for a long time now with its glamorous devices and great spec smartphones. We also
know that HTC is set to launch its flagship the HTC One M9 at the MWC in March.
HTC One M9 has been awaited by many and is sure to steal many hearts. The
classy design and high performance specs of HTC sets its phones apart. Another
HTC smartphone that has been successful is the Butterfly series.
Earlier in August last
year, HTC launched the Butterfly 2 which was greatly acclaimed and made some
good sales for the company. The company has reportedly started working on the
successor and we may expect the Butterfly 3 soon in the second half of this year.
The Butterfly 2 had a 5
inch capacitive screen with 441 ppi. It was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at an amazing 2.5 GHz. It
runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). The models
come in two variants i.e. with 16/32 GB internal memory. It has 2GB RAM and
microSD expansion up to 128GB. The battery is non-removable Li-Po 2700mAh
battery. Last but not the least it has dual 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front
camera.
It is sure that the Butterfly 3
(B3) will be an upgrade to this predecessor. The question is how it will differ
from the HTC One M9. Although the specifications of B3 are not out we know that
the screen sizes differ. The a HTC One M9 has a 5 inch screen however reports
from upleaks suggest that the phone will have a 5.2 inch WQHD display. WQHD is
similar to QHD display.
There are also reports
regarding the HTC tablet that is going to be launched. According to upleaks
this tablet will also be launched in the second half of the year. It will reportedly
be based on Nexus 9.
Considering the reputation of
HTC both these products are going to be a tremendous hit in the market and we just can’t
wait for more information on them to show up.
