The Chinese manufacturer, Gionee has entered the Indian
Market with smartphones in the low-budget smartphone category. We all know
about the world slimmest phone presented to us by Gionee. The series of
smartphones is known as P series which consists of 4 smartphone. The P in the P series stands for the
Pioneer. The phones are named as P1,
P2S, P3 and P4. The price starts from Rs 4,799 to Rs 7,999.
The phone has a 3.5 inch display and a dual sim support.
The camera is only 2MP pixel with a VGA front camera. P1 runs on Android 2.3
and has only 256 MB RAM. It’s a shame on the Chinese maker,
Gionee.
The phone has a 4.0 inch display and a dual sim
support. P2 has a 5 MP rear camera which comes with a LED flash and a VGA
camera. The phone runs on a dual core 1.3GHz Cortex A7 processor and boards 512
MB RAM. P2S uses the Jelly Bean version of Android (Android 4.2). The phone supports 3G and has an internal
memory of 4GB. The phone is a bit slow due to the 512MB RAM provided to it. Gionee
should at least provide a 1GB RAM.
The phone has 4.3 inch display and a dual sim support.
The phone is similar to the P2S. The only difference seen is that P3 has a 4.3
inch display and the camera has an Autofocus feature.
Again the same, Gionee has increased Rs 1000 compared
to P3 as they did with P3. The phone again a slightly bigger 4.5 inch display and
a 1GB RAM.
I’m really disappointed with Gionee P Series. Gionee is
just increasing the screen size and RAM in all their P series models with a
price difference of Rs 1000. I would not recommend you to go for this series of
Gionee.
