In one such newest move, the software gigantic is functioning at bringing its digital assistant Cortana to Microsoft Office, according to recent report by The Verge. Presently, Microsoft is reportedly testing a “Work Assistant” application that’s been designed to use Cortana to share, edit and open documents using voice commands. It will be like Mini Cortana inbuilt in Microsoft Office, which will help you to delete, open, edit and share on your voice commands.
The preliminary app will be a trial product, but one can expect Cortana integration in Office apps on mobile as well as desktop also, adds the report. In future, Microsoft could also integrate Cortana on iOS and Android. One of the first declarations to emerge from Nadella’s Microsoft has been Office apps for platforms like Android and iOS. Soon, Android and iOS consumers could download Microsoft Office apps for free, without the need for an Office 365 payment.
