There are so many methods depending on the model of device and the company by which you can turn on your smartphone without using power button. One of the easiest way is try to plug your device into the charger as your battery may be depleted. This trick will work in some devices whereas in some phones press the volume button for a long time until the boot menu appears.

If you have Moto G, then you can try this. When your phone battery is 5% or more then unplug it from the charger and connect it with a PC or laptop via data cable. Your phone will boot up immediately. This method will work for sure as we tried it on Moto G device. You can try it with other devices also.

There is one more method by which you can turn on your smartphone but it is a little bit difficult. Install ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and open command prompt window, then type “adb reboot” and press enter. It will work for sure. Some smartphones like Samsung Galaxys and iPhones don’t have any problem when their power button is broken as they have physical home button which is below the screen and will turn them on.

These are the hit and trial methods. It is not necessary that these methods works with every device. You can try simply plugging your smartphone into a charger and wait for someone to call you. You can also turn on your phone if you have physical camera button. Launch the camera app using that button and then quit it. If your smartphone is ON and your power button has broken, then you can install an app which will help you to wake up your phone.
