Everyone
knows that when it comes to smart phones, Apple is the company to beat in terms
of class, popularity and quality. But seeing the recent trend, Tim Cook and his
company are facing a tough competition from different manufacturers.
"Xiaomi", when this company started in 2010, copying everything from
Apple and becoming Apple of China but as time passed by, Lei Jun's company
became the highest selling phone manufacturer in China by bringing some of its
own innovative products in the market. The reason why they enjoyed such success
is because they offered such world-class specs at a low price, something which was never achieved by Apple.
Now the company has started to expand its horizon by holding a press conferencein San Francisco.
And
Xiaomi isn't the only brand in China which is making noise, the Chinese brand
Meizu has made quite a name for itself by offering great phones at even lesser
price. Alibaba just invested $590 million in this and that means a lot.
Considering the Australian market, it has its own big players like Huawei which
was usually known for its affordable smartphones and now it has launched
high-end devices, the Mate 7 which has every feature to compete with the premium
models of Apple and Samsung.
There
is apparently another brand called Oppo which is threatening to take over the
top position of Apple and if it continues to bring forth products like the N3
and R5 then who knows, maybe it will. Both the phones have written class all
over them with R5 being the second slimmest phone in the world and has one of the
most beautiful design ever seen in a smartphone. The N3 is famous for its 16 MP
rotating camera allowing you to take selfies of the highest quality.
