On
February 5, 2015 Apple submitted another new patent application which unmasked
the Apple’s new plan for the new fingerprint sensors which will be implanted in
the future Apple products if it’s successful. This plan revealed that this is
an effort to implant the fingerprint sensor in the touchscreen display which
was previously in the home button of the Apple product.
This new
creation can amuse tons of app developers. This could help the app makers to
make innovative ideas which can result in fun filled experience using the apps.
And it can also make a better secured way to have any personal and official
information in any electronic device featuring a touchID in the display.
There
are like two possibilities from our view at the new innovative idea of the
Apple. They can either come up with a fixed point for our fingerprint scanner. Where
the device or any other third party app can ask you to touch the screen at a
particular point on the screen to unlock or verify identity which can be very
useful for securing information on the device.
They can also take a leap further up where the whole display can be used as a touchID.
It can get a fingerprint of a single finger or a number of finger or it can
even scan your whole palm. In this case the whole touchscreen will be sensing
your fingerprints.
As
it’s just an idea what the Apple are going to develop on, the time limit of the
new “touchID in the screen” featuring device’s launch remains unknown. The hardship
in developing this new idea is that it should not degrade the screen resolution
and at the same time should be able to sense the fingerprints clean and clear. We
can expect this new feature in the future products of the Apple.
