India
being one of the remunerative smartphone markets in Asia. There are a few companies
who are very keen in getting into India’s smartphone market. We've already seen
Xiaomi and OnePlus invading in. Now here will come another one through Flipkart.
Yes, it’s the UMi from the homeland of
Xiaomi and OnePlus. With Samsung losing its shares in India on the other hand
there is a great chance for the other brands to take up its place.
It’s
said that the UMi talked to the E-Commerce site Flipkart regarding its plan to
hit the Indian markets. Though there is no information regarding the launch
dates of the new emerging mobile but there is information on what the UMi
launch will for us.
The
UMi will be launching its UMi Zero which will be costing around 18K. The UMi
Zero will come with a 5-inch IPS display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. It also
comes with a 16GB and 64GB internal memory variant. The phone runs on a 2 GHz octa-core processor and has a 2GB RAM. About the camera features it has a good 13 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture also has a dual LED flash and an 8 MP
front camera. The battery lives with a 2400mAh battery and has an Android 4.4.2
KitKat with the company’s customized launcher. It comes with a dual-sim which
supports 3G but not 4G.
This
UMi Zero is slim considering the thickness of the phone being only 6.4mm and is
also light as it’s just 140gm. Considering the recent launch of Xiaomi and the
specifications. We can say that if the Flipkart launches the UMi’s Zero soon it
will go head on head with its homeland competitor Xiaomi’s Mi4. Now all we have
to do is wait and watch.
