A
few months back in October the duel display “YotaPhone” was launched in India
with the initial cost of Rs 23,499 ($380) but didn’t get the response it would
have liked. Soon the makers also realised that Indians are very mindful of the
price associated with the product. So just one month later they decreased the
price by Rs 5500 and brought it to Rs 17999 ($291). But apparently, it seems
like the makers just wanna make a big impression specially on the Indianmarket.
Consequently the cost of the phone is again revised and brought down to
just Rs 12999 ($210). Being one of the first phones with the e-ink display, it
is not difficult to see why people are hesitant to invest in this particular
phone but seems like Yotaphone is determined to remove that hesitance by giving
such seductive discounts.
Flipkart
is one place where you find virtually anything and same is the case with Yotaphone.
But if someone wants to buy a phone, he would surely love to see the
specifications first, so here’s the quick recap of the specs. A 4.3 inch screen
, HD resolution of 1280x720 pixels, as mentioned above the e-ink technology
which enables us to see the notifications even if the display is not on are
note-worthy. The Snapdragon 400 dual core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz in
addition to a 2GB ram and the internal memory of 32 GB. Taking the camera
features into account, it is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera and a 1 MP front
camera. The OS is android v.4.4.2 (Jellybean) and the GPU is Adreno 320.
At
first the price was just too much considering that it has average features but
now that the rate has come down, it might be considered as a possible option
while purchasing.
