Samsung finally announced
the official launch of its long rumored slimmest phone yet. The phone will be
an addition to the Samsung Galaxy A series. Yesterday night, Samsung launched
this product. This is the slimmest smartphone from Samsung with the thickness
of only 6.3mm. The phone structures a full metallic body and takes a higher
position with respect to the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5.
The Galaxy A7 provides
cutting-edge specs as per the technology available today. Construction wise,
the Galaxy A7 has a full aluminum unibody and has looks similar to that of two
phones of the Galaxy A series. This sibling of Galaxy A3 and A5 sports a bigger
screen of 5.5 inch making it fall under the phablet category.
Galaxy A7: Design and
Display
Looks wise the phone seems
quite same as its siblings Galaxy A3 and A5. A full aluminum unibody built with
curves at the corner edges gives an immense look to the phone. The device
measures only 6.3mm making it the slimmest smartphone from Samsung. The A7
features a 5.5 inch HD screen of 720p with Super AMOLED display for crystal clear
picture quality experience.
Galaxy A7: Camera Features
The Galaxy A7 features a
13MP camera shooter at the rear. In this field of Camera, Samsung has really
got a name for its camera as all the camera phones from Samsung give amazing
quality photos. The Galaxy A7 is also embedded with a 5MP front shooter for the
selfies. There also features like LED flash and Autofocus features for the Rear
camera.
Galaxy A7: Operating
System
The Samsung Galaxy A7 will
run on Android Kitkat v4.4 out of the box. Along with that, you will get
Samsung’s own Touchwiz UI. The company says the phone will also be getting the Lollipop
update which is a good news.
Galaxy A7: Processor and
Speed
The company says that the
Galaxy A7 will be launched in two versions, one supporting 4G facility whereas
the other being limited to the 3G facility. According to this, there will be
variation in the processors also. The 4G facilitated phone will come with 64bit
Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor (1 GHz Quadcore + 1.5 GHz Quadcore). The 3G
enabled handset will run on by Samsung’s Octa-core Exynos processor (1.3 GHz
Quadcore + 1.8 GHz Quadcore). The processors will be coupled with 2GB RAM for
smooth running of the phone.
Galaxy A7: Battery and
Storage
The phone has grown bigger
in size than its siblings and so the power capacity has also grown bigger. The
phone will be having a 2,600 mAh battery. Since the previous A series phone had
no-removable battery, so we are expecting the same from the A7. The Galaxy A7
will be having a 16GB of internal storage which expandable upto 64GB with
micro-SD card.

the Galaxy A7 also comprises of additional features like Ultra Power Saving
Mode, Private mode, Changeable Themes (Natural, Casual, Classic, Romantic),
Multi-screen and Quick Connect. These features might add up to the interest of
the people who are going to buy this device.
Conclusion
Finally the all-time
rumored slimmest smartphone from Samsung has been launched. The phone seems
promising seeing the specs and the built of the phone. The main thing that
might be a slight disadvantage for some is the external storage is only up to
64GB. Had it been 128GB or so, then it would have provide a tough competition
in its segment. The price of the phone is yet to be known but still its gaining
a lot of hype from now.
