Just after the launch of Oppo mirror 3 and Oppo R1C,
Oppo launched its Oppo U3 smartphone. This time Oppo U3 phablet is not a huge
screen or a smartphone with a good sound quality, but the most distinguishable
feature of Oppo U3 is a special casing with a ball of white fur on the back
cover. Oppo’s unintentionally did a cute innovation which helps the users to
get a better grip. Oppo did take care of the music lovers by providing an AK4961 audio chip which
promises the user a clear and good quality sound.
Display
and Design:
The phone is built of a massive 5.9 inch Full-HD display
with a resolution of 1080x1920(377 ppi).The phone catches the user attention with its looks and specially the cool white fur ball which is called ‘Rabbit’s
Tail’. Yes the Oppo U3 has a tail. It will attract a lot of girls with this
tail. The phone is light weight, just about 195g.
Camera
Feature:
Everyone’s familiar with Oppo revolving camera feature,
this time Oppo U3 rear camera comes with a 13 Megapixel camera with a Sony IMX214 sensor and
the front’s provided with a 5 Megapixel selfie snapper. The 5.9 inch screen
makes it easy to take perfect selfie’s. The Sony sensor is just a like the
icing on a delicious cake which makes it more yummy. It’s the sensor that Sony
uses in its high end phones which can pull of software tricks and can take your
photos upto 50 Megapixel. The front camera is provided with a wide angle glass
and LED flash to make it perfect for Selfie.
Processor
and Speed:
The
rabbit is boarded with a 64-bit Mediatek MT6752 octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.7
GHz. Rabbit (Oppo U3) is paired with a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Oppo
U3 all set to meet the expectations of modern users.Oppo U3
comes with dual-SIM (Nano-SIM/Micro-SIM,dual
stand-by) and will support 4G LTE as well. It will run on the KitKat version of
Android (4.4.4) with Oppo’s self designed UI which is called Color OS 2.0.1. The
rabbit will be powered with a 3000mAh battery and a VOOC fast charging feature
which provides the device to reach 75 percent in just 30 minutes that is quite
fast.

Final Conclusion:
Although no news on the update to the latest version on Android, Oppo U3 stands on all our demands, a good camera, stylish, good sound quality, the full-HD display and the innovative rabbit’s tail. When Oppo is there, there is so much more to look forward. I hope the user get their hands on this rabbit faster before it gets out of the race. No Official pricing is declared till now but rumours are that Oppo U3 will be available at around 29,500 in India.
