And did you know, making your iPhone or iPad into a Wi-Fi hotspot is much
easier than converting your laptop into a Wi-fi hotspot
In iPhone or in iOS
Here are some very easy steps to share your mobile phone Internet connection of any
iOS device – that means it will work on both iPhone and iPad.
1. First
step is to go to Setting and Choose Personal Hotspot and tap it to make it ON.
In short, Settings > Personal Hotspot > On.
In iOS 8 path
maybe like this:
Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot > On.
2. Now enter
a good password to make your Wi-Fi secure.
3. If you
have done the steps in the correct way then you will see the Wi-fi network on the other device and you can connect to the Wi-Fi network in the usual manner.
4. The name of your Wi-Fi network will be name of your phone or tablet which you can
change any time by going to the Settings -> General -> About ->
Name
And just so
if you know, iPhone or more precisely iOS use WPA2 security which is pretty
secure.
