Once upon a time
Apple had Google Maps as it’s default mapping app. Then slowly they designed
their Apple Maps which wasn't a big success. But it was soon found to be substituting
the Google Maps in the Apple devices. Though the Apple maps weren't the best, it
served its purpose good. Soon there were a few changes in the mapping app,
Google and Apple maps competed against each other in 3D. Though Apple failed a
few times to the Google Maps. It came back with a counterattack and Apple Maps
are now considered better than Google Maps.
Though
Apple Maps are considered better they are still improving and it has resulted in
28 new mapping inventions that flooded the patent office last month, which depict the new 3D mapping app that will provide features that will let the users to see the
3D view of the streets, it can provide you with an approximate value of the
height and depth of a selected location, fly over views, map tile view in 3D, map
rotations, curved 3D images, voice instructions and lots more.
Rumors
were flying about the iPhone 7 featuring glasses free 3D display and 3D maps. It
seems like apple applied for the 3D position tracking patent too. Now that the Mac book and iPad are being used by students for educational purposes the 3D update
of the Apple maps will be amusing to the students as its world view is more
stunning. If the iPhone 7 features the 3D view of maps it’ll be the first
product from apple with the all new mapping features invented by the Apple. Apple is
now upgrading the flyover views of various places so it’ll be fun to view all
the places in the world by sitting in your room with a better 3D experience.

If
iPhone 7 comes up with the glasses free 3D display and 3D mapping app it’s going
to be the mobile that will make everybody to drop their jaws in awe.
