Xiaomi - A New Sensation, A New Symbol Of Success




Let’s discuss about the new company which has set a new mark on face of this planet. Just in a very short span of 4 years, the company was able to make space in people’s heart with very good feedbacks that raised the company from an amateur level to the fastest growing company. Xiaomi these days is the Third largest smartphone developing company, after Samsung being on First position and Apple on Second leaving behind the gladiators of tech world like Lenovo, HTC, Nokia and even Blackberry. Samsung loses top position in China and India, as mobile phone market got Xiaomi’s killer look and economic phones.



Xiaomi has been focusing on their quality and the price so well, that people love their products. A company based in China, is now expanding in Malaysia, India and Singapore, going to some parts of Indonesia and some other countries, making the founder Lei Jun the 23rd most richest man in the world.

Doing publicity online through various social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, the company saved a lot of money which is being wasted in many advertisements. It even provided a platform for them to directly get to their consumers.

The company had been updating their consumers about the new updates in their MIUI every week with every detail. It not only build the trust in people, also they were easily accessed to every information through the fastest and cheapest source available - Internet.

The company focused on cheap products by minimizing the cost to their manufacturing cost only. They have been mainly earning from the updates and their own system MIUI.

The company only focused on the quality they provide within the cheapest price of manufacturing cost and letting Flipkart and their own websites do the talking of marketing.

The company only sold their products through Flipkart or directly through their websites which allowed the users to easily access their information and it also reduced the middle money makers, giving the product its cheaper price.

Being a Chinese Brand, Xiaomi had opened 20 plus authorized service centers in every selling country. This is the first Chinese brand to open so many service centers in India that too within 1 year.

While other brands like HTC, LG, Samsung, Apple and Sony continue to produce their flagship phones and keeping their product's high price to increase brand value, in the meantime Xiaomi introduced killer look budget phones. The products when compared to other products in same range of different brands like Samsung, Nokia and HTC, Xiaomi had always been standing out remarkably with more and better features in their products and quality.



So all above factors are behind Xiaomi success, which lead Xiaomi to number 1 in china and number 3 in World. I personally think Oppo and Gionee should learn from Xiaomi how to market their products. Because Gionee and Oppo introduces indeed innovative phones. Recently Oppo has launched its two phones. One is Oppo N3 which is world’s first rotating camera phone. Second one is Oppo R5 which was world’s slimmest phone before Vivo X5 Max was launched.
