by either placing them inside a large book or with a flower press.But one thing
to keep in mind is that the drying time takes time, minimum of 7 days.
Stuff Required In This Tutorial
- Pressed dried flowers
- Plain Phone Case
- Clear craft glue
- Tape
- Scissors
- Parchment paper
- Ruler
- Permanent marker
- Timer
- 2 plastic cups
- 50/50 clear-casting epoxy resin
- Glitter
So without wasting much time, let me teach
you how to design a pressed flower Phone Case
STEP 1: ARRANGING THE FLOWERS
Place the pressed flower on the case and arrange it in the way you want the case to look like.If you want to add a lot of flowers on your case then always keep in mind to keep the light colored flowers under darken ones so that it makes good effect. Don’t forget to take the snapshot of those arrangements you like.
Remove all the flowers from the case and keep
them aside.Put a small amount of glue on the largest flower to the case. Follow
this thing with all other flowers until your arrangement is completed.
STEP
2: PREPARING THE RESIN
Cut a 2 ft long parchment paper and keep it on the surface. Take your resins and read the instructions carefully.
a) Put the ruler inside a plastic cup and make your first mark at 3/8 of
an inch and the second mark at 3/4 of an inch. Markings are to be done with
permanent marker only.
b) Set the timer to 2 minutes and slowly put resin to the cup to 3/8 inch line. Craft stick is ready for stirring. Next, slowly pour the hardener only to 3/4 inch line but not more than that.
c) Start the timer stir the contents of cup with the stick for 2 minutes. When the timer goes off, put the second plastic cup on the surface and the second unused craft stick for stirring. You may also add sparkles or glitters to make it more attractive.
d) Now set the timer to 1 minute and pour the content of the first cup to the second cup and stir it well. Keep the resin in rest for 5 minutes.

3: ADDING RESIN TO THE CASE
Pour a small amount of resin onto the center of the case. Spread the resin using the craft stick. Keep adding the resins until the flowers and the entire back is covered with it. Set the case on the parchment paper. Keep an eye on it until it dries. Drying can nearly take 1 to 2 hours. If any resin spills over the edge clean that with a paper or anything.
Once the first coat of resin is dried, look
if all the flowers in the case are properly coated. A second coat of resin can
also be applied, if needed.
So this is one of the best way to make your Phone look more attractive. Using resin to decorate the phone case is a new
and totally different idea.
