Sometimes while charging our phone, we find that the length of the power cord is short to keep our phones on a place while charging. And sometimes there are no table nearby the socket to keep our phone while charging. Have you ever face any such problem? If yes, then today we have got you a solution for that. This is a charger wall pocket.
There is a way to create a charger wall
pocket which can be used for storing cell phones chargers when not in use. All
the measurements can be easily changed to make it smaller/bigger that fits in
one’s electronic item.
THINGS NEEDED:
- 2 pieces of fabric approx 5 ½” x 11”
- 1 piece of cotton batting approx 5 ½” x 11”
- Sewing machine/needles and thread
PROCEDURE:
- Cut out the fabric and
batting measure 5 ½” x 11”
- A square is cut out on the
top of the fabric and batting pieces approx 2”x 2 ½” about 1” from the top
edge
- Pin all the 3 pieces with
right side of fabric facing each with cotton batting on the bottom
- Then it is sewed along the
4 outside edges with the help of a ¼” seam allowance
- Then the whole thing is
flipped right through the rectangle hole.
- The fabric along the edges
of the rectangle hole is turned, pinned together and sewed using a ¼” seam
allowance. It may look easier to make a diagonal cut into the fabric at its
each corner so it lays flatter.
- At last, fold up the bottom
rectangle to make a pocket, pin into the place, and sew along its edges.
