The South Korean giant
Samsung, is getting a lot of competition from the Chinese manufacturers these
days as they continue to launch high-specs low budget smartphone. To compete
with them, Samsung has come up with a new device. The device claims to be a low
budget and feature rich smartphone. Samsung calls it the SM-Z130H. The main
thing that might attract the customer’s attention is that it runs Tizen OS v2.3.
Samsung known for its
amazing Android based smartphone could be releasing the Tizen OS based
smartphone by the end of this year. But still the phone is yet to be announced
officially by Samsung.
Key specs of the phone:
- Display: 4-inch 480 x 800
resolution
- 1.2 GHz Dual-Core
Speedtrum SC7727S chipset
- GPU: Mali 400 clocked at
460.8 MHz.
- 512 MB RAM
- 3.2 MP Primary Camera
(with LED Flash).
- VGA Front camera
- 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi,
APS, GLONASS.
The phone might be disappointing
for some people for the RAM and the Primary camera. But still we can’t point
out to the RAM, it may be enough for Tizen OS as it was in the case of Windows
phone lumia 520. But the camera if made 5MP will be real deal for the phone.
Apart from these, it is heard that the Tizen OS has a UI similar to that of the
TouchWiz, only may be some icons may be modified. But the overall the feel of
the UI might remain same. Along with that, the phone also gets some of the
features that are available in Samsung’s android phone such as the Ultra Power
Saving Mode and the Private Mode.
The only sensor in the
phone is the accelerometer. The phone will come with pre-loaded apps like
Facebook, twitter and some Google Services.
The main thing now click
in the mind is, what will be price of the phone. Well Samsung is yet to
announce the price of the phone. But if it is launched somewhere in the range
of 4,000 – 5,000 INR, it will be a good option.
