Oneplus One, a standout
amongst the most avidly expected smartphones of this year, will be available in
India from December 2 only on Amazon.in. This is the first occasion when
Chinese startup has tied up with a local online dealer to sell the massively hyped
phone. Users will have the capacity to win invites by subscribing to the
Oneplus bulletin and by tuning in challenges organised by Oneplus and Amazon.
We had an opportunity to review
the Oneplus One and we were left awed by what it brought to the table. It's an
extensive 5.5-inch telephone, with an extraordinary 1080×1920 pixel resolution.
The screen has Gorilla Glass 3 protection and the same versatile backdrop
illumination technology that is seen in some Sharp displays as well. What's
more, the phone is one of the few to have 3gb of RAM and is operated by the
Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Soc with a quad-core processor timed at 2.5ghz and also
an Adreno 330 GPU.
The firm included India to
be the first market since the Oneplus One's dispatch in April out of 17 nations
where a local service center will be set up, offering both walk-in and dial-in
support to clients. Oneplus stressed that the teams in these nations will be
headed by Vikas Agarwal who is the General Manager of Oneplus in India.
There is no saying on the pricing
yet, however we can expect that the organization may try at a aggressive costing
given that the competition is truly intense in the mid-range in India.
