The American Multinational
Corporation, Microsoft after overtaking the Nokia for $7.2 billion, is all set
to launch its first phone with its own brand name. The device is currently
known as RM-1090. Still the actual name is not clear now.
The device seems to be
quite simple in looks and is more or like same as the Nokia Lumia 520 or 525.
The device seems to have low end specifications.
The Key Specs of the phone are:
- Dimension: 140.2×72.45×9.32 (mm).
- 5-inch HD display – 720p.
- 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon 200 processor.
- SIM: Dual SIM.
- Memory: 1GB RAM; 8GB ROM (expandable upto 64GB, micro-SD).
- Camera: 5MP Primary and Front camera VGA.
- Battery: 1900 mAh.
- Colors: black, white, gray, green, blue, orange.
- Frequency supported: 850MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 1900MHz.
Overall the phone seems
quite good, the only thing that will matter is the price tag at which it will
be launched. From rumors, most likely the phone will be launched somewhere
between 8,000 – 10,000 INR. Can Microsoft make a name in the smartphone world,
it will only be seen after the launch of this device.
