Follow the steps:
Step 1:
You need to download an app called 'Web of Cam Surveillance
SpyCam'. The app is available for Android as well as iOS users.
This will be available soon for Windows users and Blackberry phone users.
Step 2:
Install this app and then it will show two options. First is
camera and the second is viewer. Select camera for now and click next button.
Step 3:
Now it will be asking for your Google account. You need to share
your Google account by typing username and password and then click accept.
Step 4:
Fix your phone to some safe place.
Step 5:
Now if you want to see the footage on any other device then you’ll
need same app on that device.
Follow the entire step as mentioned earlier and select viewer
option instead of camera.
By using Google synchronization this app will help you to see the
footage of recording.
Congratulations!!! you have just converted your old phone to CCTV
camera.
Extra Features:
You can keep your phone to blank or visible mode. In blank mode
your phone screen light will be turned off during the recording.
Things to remember:
1. Your phone should be placed somewhere so that no one can reach
there except you.
2. You need to have proper internet connection for 24x7. 3G
connection would be preferred over 2G. As, 2G connections are slow and might
get disconnected.
3. As old phones have battery problem. So to overcome that
problem you need charge your phone for 24 hours. But by charging your phone so
long, your phone battery might swell. You need to take care of that.
Final conclusion:
Everyone wants security whether they are in office, home or bank.
We all know that CCTV cameras are too costly and maintenance is also a hectic
work. So to avoid that situation I think use of old smartphone as CCTV camera
would be a nice option.
You can see the footage of the recording from anywhere in the
world and your precious things can be saved easily.
