The FBI may want to access your mobile phone data

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) doesn’t seem quite happy by the decision took by Apple and Google on the secure communications as default configuration. They also say that it may lead us to “ a very dark place”. This incident happened in the recent talk by the director James Comey who expressed his views on the inability of law enforcement to keep up with the current technologies.

James Comey

Both the tech giants recently said they will by default encrypt the devices that means even the company itself cannot access your photos, mails or any other data on you device.

So as for now our data and other information are safe from FBI but we cannot say for how long because it is come to know that Comey requests to update the Communications Assistance for law Enforcement Act (CALEA) to reflect the current and modern times but for now, the White house has declined the recent requests.

But I don’t know whether Comey is right or wrong. So I request our readers to justify with reason whether or not the CALEA should be updated or not? It is correct to provide government our personal phone data or not? Whether company like Google or Apple should provide access to the data on government request or not?
