Applications are simplest to recover. Apps that you installed on SD card can again be downloaded and installed.

For other things there two cases which commonly arises

Case 1: SD card recovery when you accidentally deleted files

You may or may not know that deleting a file doesn’t actually delete it. At this point you might ask what happen to file when I delete it? When you delete a file the space reserved by the file is set to free. That means if you just delete a file then your file is currently present at the same place.

So to recover your deleted files first thing you should do is stop using your memory card. Secondly, safely remove your memory card from your phone and connect it to your laptop or PC.

To recover the files we are going to use some software’s. For this purpose we are going to use EaseUs Data recovery software. But to remind you there are other recovery softwares like Recuva, cardrevory, etc. and all works on the same fundamental principal

Open software > select the folder or disk partition > Click recovery option

As per our tutorial using EaseUs will be our target

Below is the step by step tutorial on using EaseUs Data Recovery

At first download the software according to your Operating software.

Here are the links

Now you are just 3 steps away from recovering your deleted files

Step 1. Open EaseUs recovery software and select the type of file you want to recover. After choosing the required type, click “Next” button to proceed for the next step.

You will we asked whether you want to Deep Scan the disk or not? You can go with the default setting and click next. But if you didn’t find the file then you have to repeat the procedure and select “Deep Scan” option and click Next button.

Case 2: SD card recovery in case where you formatted the card

Recovering data after you format your card is little tough and uncertain but recovery principle is same as we used for recovering deleted files.

Stop using the card and  safely remove it from your phone. Connect your SD card to computer and follow exactly the same steps as we followed above.
