named Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini. There have been many leaks surrounding this phone

The mini version has been popular
with people who want a smaller and less costly device with all the goodness of
the Samsung’s flagship devices. The specifications in the mini versions are
generally heavily cut down. However with companies like Sony providing almost
similar features in the compact devices as compared to their flagships we can
expect something similar from Samsung as well!!
SamMobile has reported various leaks about this
phone and released the Antutu and CPU-Z benchmarks.The Antutu and CPU-Z benchmarks for
this device are out and it lists the model number as SM-G800F. The design of
Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will be very similar to its big brother and will also
retain features like heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner which were big
features of Galaxy S5.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will have a 720p 4.5-inch Super AMOLED
display with Gorilla Glass 3.
Power:
Also it will run on a Samsung Exynos 3 Quad-core chip clocked at
1.4 GHz and will also have a 1.5 GB RAM.It is also rumored to have a Mali 400
GPU.
Camera:
The Galaxy S5 Mini's camera will include an 8MP primary camera and
2.1MP secondary camera and both will be capable of recording 1080p FHD video.
Operating System:
The Galaxy S5 Mini will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and also have the
latest TouchWiz UX.
Storage:
The handset will have 16 GB of internal storage and will be expandable
up to 128-GB using MicroSD slot.
Durablitiy and
Battery:
The Galaxy S5 Mini will also be IP67 certified, which means the device
will be both dust-resistant and waterproof. It will be powered with a 2100 mAh
battery.
Ultra Power Saving Mode
The Ultra Power Saving Mode is a
feature from the Galaxy S5, that changes the screen to black and white and thus
maximizing the battery life.
Obviously you’d this mode
sparingly but its usefulness cannot be underestimated. I am sure we all have

Release date:
This device was earlier rumored to be released on June 12th
at Samsung’s
Galaxy Premiere event that took place in New York.However that did not happen. There is no clear
information related to the release of this phone however we can expect it to be
released in the upcoming weeks of July.
Price:
The Galaxy S4 mini came in
at around £380 on a SIM-free basis and we expect the Galaxy S5 mini to hit this
range too. However there is not much known about the price of Galaxy S5 mini
and we can only speculate. It's likely that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will cost around
£399.
