Huawei Ascend G6 review and specification

Huawei-Ascend-G6

Day has come when small companies are giving tough competition to big companies like Sony, Samsung, and Motorola etc. The telecommunication Chinese company Huawei is also doing well in smartphone field. Recently Huawei had launched Huawei ascend p7 which got huge response from users. Now they are planning to launch new flagship as Huawei ascend G6. Also it is not the successor of Huawei Ascend P6.

Huawei Ascend G6 will be of 7.9 mm thickness which is 29.3% lesser than average of all the smartphones. Also its weight is only 115g which is far lesser than other smartphones. It will have 4.5 inches of screen with resolution of 540 x 960 pixels which can fit in your pockets very easily. Huawei Ascend G6 will be available in two colors which are back and white.

The Company will provide 8 GB of internal storage to store apps and games. Additionally external storage will be given which can store up to 32 GB of memory. Since other companies are giving 64 GB or 128 GB of external storage so people were expecting more. Huawei will give 1 GB of RAM in order to run apps without lag problem. But Huawei’s previous model Huawei ascend p7 had 2 GB of RAM so they could have given at least 1.5 GB of RAM.

One good feature provided by Huawei is NFC (near field communication). Two devices can exchange data very easily. Also this smartphone will support 4G network in order to get high internet speed.

8 MP of primary camera with video resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels will be given by the company which is quite good because other major companies are giving only 5 MP of primary camera for mid-range users. So with 8 MP of primary camera it can record full HD videos. I think the users will be happy with that. Also 5 MP of secondary camera will be given for the selfie and video calls. Single LED flash will help to take the pictures in dark.

Right now the company won’t provide latest android OS V 4.4.2 (kit-kat). Huawei ascend G6 will come with android v4.3 jelly bean. Right now we don’t have any information about updates. Quad core processor is there which is good but clock speed of this phone is less which can be a deterrent on the users. This smartphone will be embedded with Qualcomm snapdragon chipset.  Also Adreno 305 GPU is used for the graphics although Adreno 330 is the latest.

Conclusion:

This smartphone is designed for the mid-range users and it’s pretty impressive. There are so many positive points about this smartphone but there are some negative points too.

So let’s list out those points:
