Motorola is creating a buzz in the Smartphone world with its new flagship device, Moto E. Moto E is becoming the first choice for people looking for real affordable phone. Moto E has all the standard features that a Smartphone need to have and that too coming at a very low price. Before Moto E, Motorola launched one more mid-budget phone i.e. Moto G which has become one of the most selling Smartphone in the market.
Moto G and Moto E both have standard features of Smartphone and have relatively low price when compared to its competitors. Facts to be noticed from above:
Size:
Moto G is slightly bigger than Moto E but if we talk about looks, they are quite similar.
Thickness:
Moto E is slightly thicker than Moto G which is a common trait in smaller phones.
Internal Storage:
If we talk about storage then Moto G has relatively higher storage when compared to Moto E. Moto G comes in two variant 8GB/16GB which are expandable to 32GB whereas Moto E comes with storage of 4GB which quite low but it is also expandable to 32GB which is a good thing.
Resolution:
Moto G has slightly higher resolution than Moto E. Moto E comes with screen size of 4.3 inch with 960x540 pixel resolution whereas Moto G comes with screen size of 4.5 inch having resolution of 720p.
Processor:
Although, Moto E is having Snapdragon 200 dual core processor and Moto G is having Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, both of these give approximately equal day-to-day performance.
Camera:
Moto G and Moto E both come with the primary camera of 5MP but Moto G includes LED flash and front camera of 1.3MP that means if you love taking selfies then Moto G should be your choice.
Price
Having said that all, Moto E price is really a plus point. Moto E comes in only INR 6999 ($129) which is really low. All the mentioned features in this price are quite reasonable
Conclusion
Motorola has already announced the 4G LTE Moto G edition, so if you want to work with 4G and LTE then Moto G will be good to use.
If you want to do video chat or take selfies then you have to go with Moto G.
If you are person who looks at price first, then I recommend MOTO E.
Information about MOTO G Ferrari edition
Recently Motorola confirmed the rumours about Moto G Ferrari Edition which is a special edition that the Motorola is going to produce by partnering with the world no. 1 Formula racing brand Ferrari.
Initially this phone will be launched only in Mexico. This edition of Moto G will come encased in Kevlar rather than polycarbonate and it will be carrying the Ferrari logo of “Prancing Horse”. It will have 16GB Internal memory and 1GB RAM that is same as present 16GB variant of Moto G.
There will definitely be changes in the price. It is expected to come with the price tag of $387 which is higher than present Moto G price that is $200.
