How to block a phone number or call on your iPhone or iPad
- Launch your Phone app from the Home Screen of your iPhone.
- Open Recent calls, which is present along the bottom.
- Now go through your list of numbers and find the contact which you want to block. After searching, tap on Info, present next to their phone number.
- Scroll all the way to the bottom on Info menu and tap on Block this Caller.
- A popup with confirmation will appear, just tap on Block Contact and the contact number will be blocked.
How
to block a contact on iPhone or iPad
Note: To block a contact you must have the contact in Contacts app. In case, you don’t have than don’t worry, use above method.
- Open Setting app, it is present on your Home Screen of your iPhone or iPad
- Scroll down and open any one of these Message, Phone, or Facetime.
- In the menu, Scroll and tap on Block.
- Tap on Add new (to block person)
- Now search for the Contact which you want to block, from the contact list and select it.
You will be surprised that
your iPhone or iPad will automatically add all the numbers and email listed for
the selected contact into the Blocked list.
How
to block Messages on your iPhone
- Just launch Message app, present on your Home screen of your iPhone or iPad
- Tap on the Message sent by the person you want to block. Now you can see Contact option at the Top right corner just tap it.
- You can see the Info option, tap on it.
- Scroll down and select the Block this Caller option.
- A confirmation popup will appear, choose Block Contact
You have successfully the
Message sent by particle number or contact.
