Till 2012 Nokia was the largest vendor of mobile phones
in the world. But due to growing use of touchscreen introduced by other brands
Nokia’s share has decreased by 28% in 2010. Android operating system and iOS
were the other major reasons for decrease in share of Nokia. By 2012, Samsung
became the largest vendor for mobile phones in the world. Now, Nokia is trying
to come back in smartphone market through its Lumia series which has windows
operating system.
Nokia
has announced that Nokia Lumia 930 will available in UK in late June or early July
but they haven’t announced the specific release date of Nokia Lumia 930. Its
price will be around $599 in US and in UK it will be approx. £500. But in India there is no such
release date or price range announced.

As
we all know after Symbian OS, Nokia introduced Windows operating system which
is not as popular as Android. But they are trying their best to stay in smartphone
market. Nokia Lumia 930 will run on windows 8.1 operating system and it will
support Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. Nokia is providing 2.2 GHz of Quad
core Krait 400 processor with GPU Adreno 330.
Nokia
is providing 32 GB of internal memory with no micro SD card slot which can be a
negative point for Lumia 930. Although 2 GB of RAM is more than enough for
those who wants to play high resolution graphic games. Nokia has
given 20 MP of primary camera with Carl-Zeiss lens to click your dear ones.
Secondary camera of 1.2 MP is provided for video calling but 1.2 MP should have
been increased to 2.2 MP. All basic sensors are embedded in the hardware and
2420 mAh Li-ion battery is also more than enough.

16 hours of battery backup for talk time.
Conclusion:
Features
provided by Nokia are satisfactory but by seeing the price of the smartphone,
these features could be improved. Some might say this smartphone is overpriced
because brands like Samsung, Apple are giving more features in same price
range.
First
negative thing you will observe about this smartphone is there no micro SD
slot. Although they have given 32 GB of internal memory but memory requirement
varies according to user’s use. Now days, all high end devices like Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8,
Sony Xperia Z2 are having Qualcomm snapdragon 801 chipset and people were
expecting same thing from Nokia Lumia 930 but they have provided snapdragon 800
chipset.

with dual LED flash is most important feature that I liked in this smartphone
and other features are normal for device like Nokia Lumia 930.
In
my opinion features are good but little overpriced. If money is not an issue
for you then you can go for Nokia Lumia 930.
