In this article I want to help those people who are struggling through
the problem of opening their lock. I understand how bad it can be because I
suffered from it.
One day me and my one friend were trying to open pattern lock of
my other friend’s phone, just for fun we were testing whether we can guess it
or not. And we failed many times and phone started to ask Gmail password which
my friend forgot. We were in great trouble.
Now we thought what to do? We tried many things like resetting
password online but that didn’t work out because Internet access was off in his.
So, what my friend need was the old password.
Since mistake was mine I took the initiative to solve the
problem and I succeeded. As blogger I thought many people may suffer from this
problem that is why I thought of writing this tutorial to help people in
unlocking their android phone pattern lock.

Here are the step to unlock your
android phone patter lock
Note: One downline of using these steps is that all your user
data will be deleted.
There are only 5 step involved in this procedure:
♦ Power off your mobile phone
♦ Now you need to go to Recovery mode of your mobile. This is different for different devices
♦ Select factory reset: just go up and down, and select factory reset option. After selection you will asked for confirmation, you have to select yes.
♦ Select cache reset: After factory reset you need to do the Cache reset/delete
♦ After completing all above steps you need to Reboot the recovery mode.
All above step are same for any android device including phone
and tablet. The options can vary according to device like factory reset can be
mentioned as factory format, just small variation nothing more.

**Options in your recovery mode can be little bit different
Here are I have listed some phones and tablet, this button you
to press after you switch off the device
- Galaxy GT5670: Home button + power button
- Micromax Funbook (P255): power button + volume up button
** Devices having Home button (it must be physical button not
just touch button) you can use buttons used for Samsung Galaxy GT5670. Others, you can go and use buttons used in
Micromax Funbook (P255)
Note: Most of the device use volume
up/down button to go up down in the menu. Also most the device use Home
button to select the option. In case you don’t have Home button than you can
use power button to select the
option.
