Hardware comparison:

The first thing you’ll notice by seeing both phones is size difference. No doubt android mobile are bigger in size than iPhones from last few years. Nexus 5 is 11 percent longer, 17 percent wider and 13 percent thicker than iPhone 5s. In terms of design, one can easily recognize iPhone from miles away from its iconic design. On other hand, Google has also provided humble look for the Nexus with soft touch finish on back-panel. Both iPhone 5s and nexus 5 are considerable light weight. But technically nexus 5 is 16 percent heavier than iPhone 5s and you don’t even feel it because of its bigger size.

When we talk about display, nexus 5 wins there too. Nexus 5 has higher pixel density of 445 ppi (pixel per inch) with comparison of iPhone’s 326 ppi. Although, apple’s display is pleasing to eyes. Talking technically, Apple’s iPhone has A7 system on chip. On other hand, Google’s Nexus 5 has Qualcomm’s snapdragon 800. In terms of battery life, Google’s nexus 5 has got 2300 mAh of battery whereas Apple’s iPhone 5s has got 1570 mAh. One of the most dominating feature of iPhone is fingerprint sensor i.e. touch ID whereas Nexus 5 don’t have such type of feature.

Software comparison:

Software is the main part which defines the device properly. Google has launched the newest version android 4.4 kitkat and it will receive all the updates as soon as Google release them. On the other hand, Apple has provided iOS 7 which is remarkably good.
One more thing I want you to consider about iPhone is its camera quality. Apple has provided 8MP of primary camera and 1.2 MP of secondary camera. You don’t need a photographer to take good pictures with your iPhone 5s, what you need to do is just point and click and rest of thing iPhone will do by itself. On other hand Google has given 8 MP of primary camera and 1.3 MP of secondary camera which is almost equivalent to iPhone 5s.
