A choice for the Pro: Logic Pro X

Logic Pro X
With the release of windows 8, and its touch screen friendly app drawer, the markets have been flooded will all kind of touch screen laptops, even with ones whose screen can be detached to be used as a standalone tablet computer. Yet the AAA rated giant, Apple Inc. is still hesitant about the touch screen mac books, may be in future we see such devices, and we know quite well that there’s no competition to apple when it comes in the touch screen war. From iPods iPhones to iPads apple has done it all.

With the Logic Pro X, apple tries to solve the touch screen lack and its use in the music industry which has been neglected since 2009, when the Logic Pro 9 was released.

Logic Pro X is released as a successor to the earlier launched Logic Pro 9. It has been seen that ever since after 2009 apple is keen only in its smart phone and tablet market, rather than also upgrading its Mac pro line of computers, this has been a worse time for the apple loving professional community.

With a combination of your Mac Book Pro and the iPad, you get top of the line music building and editing software, where the iPad is used as an input device feeding the Mac Book. The multi touch screen of the iPad and the amazing retina display of the iPad makes the experience life like. The Logic Pro X has an inbuilt nine new MIDI plugins, new sound library and a classic synthesizer and much more.

It is rather impossible to hover around all the features, these are a few we loved the most.

Drummer  A Multi genre drum kit set, comes packed with the Logic Pro X, that is capable of automatically adding up into your song, the setting to the drummer, are all customizable. This feature will be very welcoming for song writs and composers.

Flex Pitch The same says it all, it is the easiest tool to change pitch of the song.

iPad Control Using a free bee from the app store the Logic Remote, iPad Control is implemented. With this now you don’t need to move your butt all around the room, relax sit on your chair, just use your iPad to control it all, amazing, truly it is!
The Arpeggiator one of the nine new MIDI plug-ins, can transform a simple keyboard chord into an convoluted performance.

The Retro Synth emulates some of the most popular classic synthesizer tones from the 70s and 80s, and Vintage Keyboards offer realistic models of electric pianos, B3 organs and clavs, with sophisticated tone-shaping controls.

Bass Amp Designer allows bass guitarists to play and record using all of the  vintage and modern bass amps, with microphones and cabinets that can be configured to build a custom bass rig.
Logic Pro X also have an entirely new Sound Library with an updated loop collection and over 1,500 instrument and effect Patches that make creative use of Track Stacks, Smart Controls, the Arpeggiator and other new plug-ins.

On a downside the Logic Pro X is not compatible with 32 bit AU plugin.

Price
There is no up gradation from Logic Pro 9 to the Logic Pro X, hence a fresh copy is necessary to be purchased. Logic  Pro X and Logic Pro MS3 are available for $199 and $29 respectively on the app store.
The price might seem a bit high for a software but when compared to the thousand of dollar worth hardware that  it replaces the price start to look under the budget. A must buy for Pros !
