Those days are gone when we have to spend hefty amount on OS & professional softwares!
I remember those days when we have to spend around 10K for getting a single user BASIC programing language!
Recently the versions of  Windows 8 was available in a price bracket of 7k to 13k. Even after spending so much we are prone to data theft & privacy losses. We were forced to use them because we can't afford Mac (Because the market hold is very less almost 18% of Global Computer market which restrict our circle)

  8. Resource  sharing is damn easy.
  9. Many softwares are in built like VLC, Mozilla, Thunderbird & list goes on.
  10. Last but not the least it does not require file defragmentation as it have a wonderful file manager which automatically stores file in an easy to access locations.
Apart from this it offers additive advantage like cutting the cost of antivirus software(as there is almost 0 possibility for getting a virus), which brings down the computing cost.
So still you feel like using your same old windows PC....
